WHAT IS TEWI?
TEWI stands for Total Equivalent Warming Input. It takes into
account not only the ODP or a refrigerant but also the GWP. For example it is a measure of
the combined efficiency of the direct working of the refrigeration system energy
consumption and also a percentage of refrigerant leakage to atmosphere.
HOW DO YOU CHARGE A SYSTEM WITH R 411B?
Always liquid charge. Following the charging guidelines
supplied.
WHAT IS GLIDE?
R 411B is a blend whose components have slightly different
thermodynamic characteristics. The glide is a measure of difference between the boiling
points of the components of the blend. The smaller the glide, the better. R 411B has a
glide of
0.7 – 1.7K. R502 has a glide of 0.9º. R407C has a
glide of 5-7K.
IF R 411B IS SO GOOD WHY DOESN’T EVERYONE USE IT?
People find it hard to believe that Greencool can make a
better refrigerant that the giant Chemical Companies. However, Greencool only manufacture
refrigerants and have invested considerable time and resources developing R 411B. Once
people actually use R 411B they are convinced and return for more.

DOES MY COMPRESSOR WARRANTY STILL STAND?
A compressor manufacturer can not refuse to replace a
compressor which has failed when using Greencool R 411B, providing, as with any
refrigerants that the manufacturers guide lines are followed. If you experience any
problems, contact Greencool direct.
IS R 411B A GENUINE DROP-IN?
Yes. There is no need to change the oil or any components.
The TEV may need to be adjusted to achieve the recommended superheat of between. On R12
applications, any natural rubber hoses will need to be replaced. Please refer to our

WHAT POWER SAVINGS CAN I EXPECT?
Generally 15-25% depending on the application of the system
etc.
