| Greencool
has been established at its Offices in Park Gate since early 1995. The office deals with
all the Technical, Sales & Marketing of R 411B for the United Kingdom, Europe and the
Middle East. The staff at Greencool have a wealth of experience in dealing with technical & sales enquiries about R 411B and how it may benefit your company, both in improved refrigeration, long term reliability and any cost savings that can be made. Greencool is convenienty located just 1 mile from Junction 9, M27 in Hampshire. See our location map below |

Development & history of R 411B
| Most refrigerants are now a mixture of two or more gases. The performance of any mixture can generally be forecast using formulae called 'The Martin-Hou Equation'. This equation is in common use for forecasting the performance of refrigerant blends. Most thermo dynamic data given out by refrigerant companies for particular blends use this equation. When computer simulation is used in conjunction with the refrigerant cycle a prediction of performance of a specific refrigerant in a particular system can be simulated. This "in theory" permits the computer user to forecast the performance of any of the refrigerants available and compare their performance by computer simulation. | ||
| The inventor of R 411B, Mr Chujun Gu, whilst at University studied and researched into the Martin Hou equation and the various refrigeration cycles to determine whether refrigeration equipment could operate more efficiently. His research and experimentation led to several discoveries that enabled him to produce an enhanced version of the equations that forecast refrigerant performance. Forecasts that can more accurately predict the performance of refrigerant blends. From this research he developed the various Greencool energy saving refrigerants. | ||
| Greencool refrigerants are developed by producing refrigerant blends that work in a system according to the 'Gu Thermo Dynamic Cycle' model, initially being selected by using the 'enhanced Martin-Hou Equation' and thereafter verifying performance in the laboratory, the technology being patented world-wide. | ||
| Greencool refrigerants are developed by research discoveries at the leading edge of refrigerant technology. Technology that has come from years of research that is continuing today to provide the refrigerants of tomorrow. | ||
| Computer programmes can show simulation
of individual refrigerant performance - but how accurately? Many will find that these
simulations do not match actual performance. This is because the 'Martin-Hou Equation'
(and other similar formulae) cannot always produce accurate predictions, so beware, do not
relstrong> The Future No matter what new compressors or system components are produced Greencool with its leading technology will be able to develop further energy saving refirgerants to provide superior performance.
